What can I write in Marktap?
Quick notes, lists, snippets and longer Markdown documents. Use headings, emphasis, links and code to keep the structure you need.
How do the four slots work?
They keep four notes close at hand. The library holds the rest. On Mac, use Command–1 through Command–4 while Marktap is active to move between slots.
Is Marktap free?
Marktap is free to download and includes seven days of full access. After that, your notes stay readable and deletable; editing, new notes and iCloud sync need Marktap Pro, as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Can I move my notes out?
Yes. Import a Markdown file or export your notes as .md files, including a batch from the library.
Does Marktap require an account?
There is no separate Marktap account. Your library is stored locally. Optional iCloud sync requires Apple's iCloud service and Marktap Pro.
