01 Overview
Norkta ("we", "our", or "the app") is a PDF utility application developed by Zixiang Zhang. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your sensitive documents remain strictly under your control.
02 Local Processing
When you use Norkta to invert colors, extract text, compress, or merge PDFs, all computational processes occur locally on your device's processor.
- We do not upload your files to the cloud.
- We cannot see the contents of your documents.
- Processed files are saved directly to your local storage.
03 Data Collection
We practice strict data minimization.
- Personal Data We do not collect names, emails, or personal identifiers.
- Usage Data We do not track which files you open or how you edit them.
04 Security
Since your data never leaves your device, its security is maintained by your device's built-in sandbox and encryption (e.g., Apple's iOS/macOS security layers). We do not introduce any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs that could compromise this security.
