First launch
Open MFann from the menu bar. If macOS asks for approval, allow MFann in System Settings → General → Login Items. Once setup finishes, the menu-bar temperature becomes available and the fan panel is ready.
The menu bar
MFann shows the current temperature as a single menu-bar reading. Click it to open the fan panel.
Fan speed
Select one of slots 1–4. The blue number controls the left fan and the orange number controls the right fan. Drag a number vertically to change it, or click it and enter a value.
Link
Turn on the link control to keep both fan targets together. Changing either side then changes both.
Slots
Each of the four numbered slots remembers its own fan speeds and link state. Select a slot to recall it immediately.
Auto
Select Auto to return fan control to macOS. Exiting MFann also returns control to macOS.
Welcome tour
Right-click the MFann panel and choose “Show Welcome & Tour…” to replay the built-in walkthrough.
Remove the fan helper
Right-click the MFann panel and choose “Remove Fan Helper…”. MFann can set it up again the next time fan control is needed.
