Backtrack is built to be invisible. We do not collect, sell, or view your data. Everything stays on your device or in your personal iCloud.
01 Overview
Backtrack ("we", "our", or "the app") is a checklist application designed to help you build habits and manage tasks. We believe privacy is a fundamental human right, and our architecture reflects this belief by minimizing data exposure by default.
02 Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data.
Backtrack does not possess a backend server to store user data. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage analytics, or device identifiers to external third-party servers.
03 Data Storage
Your templates, tasks, and settings exist in two places only:
- Local Device Stored physically on your iPhone's sandbox environment.
- Apple iCloud Encrypted transmission via Apple's servers for syncing (if enabled).
04 Third-Party Services
We rely exclusively on Apple's ecosystem to function. We do not include any tracking SDKs (like Facebook or Google Analytics).
